Maryland Capital Region Housing Symposium
Hosted by Prince George's County Housing & Community Development
PROBLEM
The Maryland National Capital Region is facing a growing housing affordability crisis impacting residents across income levels, workforce stability, and long-term economic growth. Prince George’s County Department of Housing & Community Development needed to convene cross-sector leaders—from government, finance, development, and community organizations—to move beyond conversation and toward actionable solutions.
The challenge was not just hosting an event, but designing a high-level, policy-driven convening that could:
-
Align diverse stakeholders with competing priorities
-
Translate complex housing challenges into actionable dialogue
-
Deliver a seamless, professional experience for government leadership and regional decision-makers
-
Create meaningful engagement within a limited, half-day format

SOLUTION
TADC served as the Executive Producer and Strategic Partner, leading the end-to-end design, planning, and execution of the Maryland National Capital Region Housing Symposium. We approached the event as more than a convening, designing a solutions-driven experience focused on alignment, clarity, and momentum. From developing a policy-forward agenda to managing high-level speakers across sectors, TADC ensured every element supported actionable outcomes. Our team led full-service production, including venue coordination, A/V, run-of-show development, staffing, and on-site execution, while creating a seamless attendee experience from registration through networking. Through detailed planning, speaker management, and contingency strategies, TADC delivered a high-impact symposium that fostered collaboration, strengthened cross-sector relationships, and moved the conversation around affordable housing from awareness to action.
